LONG BIO

Mady Gamin was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. After over a decade in IT, she did something beautifully impractical—she followed her heart into the world of words.

A graduate of St. Paul University, she swapped lines of code for lines of prose, trading systems and syntax for the far messier art of human emotion.

Now she writes full-time, chasing stories that ache and heal—the kind that remind people that love, in all its forms, is both the wound and the cure.

Her debut novel, Love, Icarus, is exactly what you’d expect—daring, beautiful, and a little bit reckless.

You can find her at madygamin.com, though she’s already somewhere else—lost writing her next book.
